The World's Largest Space & Science Hackathon Returns!

Join us for an inspiring weekend where science, art, data, & imagination converge! Mountain View is once again partnering with NASA Ames Research Center to host the NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2025, under the new theme: "Learn, Launch, Lead."

This year, we invite you to grow alongside a global network of scientists, technologists, & storytellers. Learn valuable skills to thrive in STEM fields, launch innovative ideas using NASA's open data, & lead your community toward a brighter, tech-driven future.

Why You Should Join - A Global, Prestigious Event

Formerly led by NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer, the Space Apps Challenge is now part of the NASA Science Mission Directorate, fulfilling the U.S. commitment to the Open Government Partnership. Managed in collaboration with Booz Allen Hamilton, Mindgrub, & SecondMuse, & joined by 11+ Global Space Agencies, it stands as a symbol of international cooperation & open innovation.

A Hybrid Experience for Everyone

Led by dynamic Local Lead Martina Dimoska, Mountain View offers both on-site & virtual participation to ensure access & engagement across the globe.

On-Site: Open to U.S. citizens, U.S. residents (Green Card Holders)

Online: Open to all global participants with livestreams, networking, & support.

Multidisciplinary Teams Welcome

Whether you're a scientist, coder, artist, storyteller, cook, educator, lawyer, or just passionate about space-this event is for you. We encourage creativity, diversity of thought, & bold ideas. You don't need to be a tech expert to make a real impact.
