About this Event
In celebration of Oscar's new office, join us for a wonderful evening of networking & lightning talks! Featured speakers from Oscar, Slack, & Healthify will be sharing how they've built valuable tools for internal users at their respective companies.
Light snacks & beverages will be provided by our friends at Oscar, a health insurance company that employs technology, design, & data to humanize health care.

Haley Allen - A Day in the Life: How Slack Uses Slack for Customer Success
Haley is a Customer Success Manager at Slack, where she focuses on helping customers make their working lives simpler, more pleasant, & more productive. Prior to Slack, Haley was a Human Capital Consultant with Deloitte, & is a graduate of Georgetown University.
Katya Dryer-Oren - "Automating Patient Imports at Healthify, or, How I Learned To Stop Worrying & Never Run a Rake Task Again"
Katya Dreyer-Oren is a jazz musician & second-career software engineer working at Healthify, a startup that helps organizations address the social determinants of health.
Katrina Schoen - Designing Communication Experiences with Configurable Tools
Katrina is a software engineer at Oscar Health, where she builds internal tools to support member services. Prior to joining Oscar, Katrina worked on energy analysis & daylighting simulation at Sefaira. She studied mechanical engineering at MIT & engineering design at the University of Cambridge.
Sarah Alice Hanna - Automate Your Job: A Template for Making Repetitive Tasks Self-Service
Sarah-Alice Hanna is a healthcare analytics professional who transforms scrappy ad-hoc processes into sustainable solutions. At Oscar, Sarah-Alice works to achieve the company's vision to make healthcare more affordable by providing analytical support to the pricing negotiation process. Sarah-Alice is a graduate of Barnard College with a degree in Applied Mathematics.
Rachael Burns - Analytics Infrastructure as a Service with Docker
Rachael has been a Data Engineer on Oscar's Analytics Infrastructure team for 6 months, & she is currently a part time student working towards a Masters of Information & Data Science from UC Berkeley. Prior to Oscar, she worked as a Data Management Analyst at Fannie Mae for 3 years, & prior to that she studied Mathematics at Williams College.
