Greentown is home to 300+ climate, energy, & industrial startups innovating for a better world. To support those startups, we have 130,000 square feet of innovation space, including nearly 50,000 square feet of prototyping lab space, as well as networks of 60+ corporate partners, 300+ active investors, & countless subject matter experts. Over Greentown's 15-year history, the organization has supported 700+ startups that have gone on to raise $15B+ & create 16,000+ jobs.

Greentown has hubs in Somerville & Houston, so while most of our members are based in Massachusetts or Texas, our membership is growing beyond these two states, & we intend to double down on that growth. New York's climate & energy ecosystem, with some of the country's most ambitious climate policy, deepest capital markets, & strongest research institutions, is a critical part of where we see Greentown's impact growing next, & this event is one step toward building deeper roots here.

Please join the Greentown leadership team to discuss how we can collectively shape the future of climate & energy innovation in New York & Massachusetts - we want to hear from you! You'll be joined by climate & energy leaders from the investment community, large corporates, government, foundations, academia, & the startup community itself, from the Northeast & beyond. Space is limited to keep the conversation intimate, so we hope you'll RSVP soon. Potential topics of discussion include:

Seeding & sourcing innovation: How Massachusetts' & New York's university & research ecosystems can learn from each other to build a stronger, more connected pipeline from lab to startup

Bridging the Second Valley of Death: How public dollars (through NYSERDA & MassCEC) & private capital across both states can help the most promising climate & energy companies scale from prototype to commercial pilot

Keeping manufacturing in the Northeast: How Massachusetts & New York can work together, through shared infrastructure or incentives, to keep growing manufacturers here instead of losing them to other regions

Lunch will be provided. Once our discussion wraps up, we invite you to stay for the Greentown Startup Showcase from 1:30 to 3:30 PM to see climate innovation in action.

Big thanks to our venue sponsor, SOSV!
