To take local action, we need local data
Cities are critical drivers of climate action. This Earth Week, the Mayor's Office of Climate & Environmental Justice & The New York Climate Exchange are partnering to showcase the city's publicly accessible climate & greenhouse gas (GHG) data. Now, more than ever, the work being done in New York City to track & reduce emissions has global impacts.
During The NYC Community Climate Data Forum, panelists & attendees will jointly discuss community benefits of this work as we aim to answer the question: How can we get data into the right hands to drive down emissions in our city in an impactful way?
Attendees will get the chance to explore maps & data visualizations about the city's GHG inventory & network with other data experts.
You're encouraged to reserve a spot for the event, as space is limited. Together, let's chart a sustainable future for New York City!
The Governors Island Ferry departs from the Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan every half hour, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Trips take 15 minutes, plus you should account for about a 10-minute walk from the ferry to the chapel.
