About this Event
About the speaker:
Ali specializes in bringing new products to market by translating business & customer needs into technical requirements. She currently runs an engineering team at Two Sigma Investments, L.P. where she focuses on building products that increase collaboration & productivity. Previously, she ran teams working on HBO GO & HBO NOW. She has been an entrepreneur, consultant, & spent ten years at Microsoft, where she played engineering & product management roles in Instant Messaging, Audio/Video Streaming, Peer to Peer, Mobile Phones, & Advertising for Xbox & Mobile. She is an adjunct professor & entrepreneur in residence at NYU, where she works with computer science students on turning ideas into reality.
