Our Panel:
Kevin Roseleads community efforts at EOS New York, a top 21 Block Producer on the EOS blockchain, helping build the EOS community & ensuring that the values & goals of EOS New York & the community are aligned. He has lead nation-wide marketing campaigns at major auto manufacturers like Ford, Toyota, & MINI Cooper & co-founded a digital product design firm. Delivering transparency & tangible value to the communities that he helps to build is at the core of everything he does. He is a passionate blockchain enthusiast & evangelist & helped launch the EOS blockchain in June of 2018.
Naomi Dabby,MD, is a co-founder of shEOS & has followed & invested in Blockchain technology since 2012. Since then she has expanded into running a syndicate for women to invest in blockchain technology companies. She regularly hosts classes to teach women how to use exchanges & to get involved in the cryptocurrency space. Naomi is an early investor & an avid proponent of EOS. She is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician practicing in level 1 trauma centers.
Edgar Fernandez is a Co-Founder of EOS Costa Rica who concentrates on the financial use cases of EOS & enterprise adoption. EOS Costa Rica is a bare-metal block producer uniquely located in Costa Rica who provides stable & secure infrastructure for decentralized applications. The Block Producer is politically neutral & prioritizes hardware investment, developer education & promoting dapps that safeguard & avance individual sovereignty.Edgar left a career on Wall St for EOS Costa Rica after a decade with Bank of America Merrill Lynch & Barclays providing derivative hedging solutions for institutional clients in Latin America. Edgar is passionate about the application of blockchain technology to support the entrepreneurial spirit & drive the development of decentralized networks. Edgar graduated from the University of Virginia with a concentration in Finance & Accounting.
Sam Jernigan started on Wall Street in 2006 at Bear Stearns & in 2008 joined JPMorgan Proprietary Trading where he co-managed macro & equity portfolios until the Volker Rule. After JPMorgan he joined Ballymena Advisors, a commodity hedge fund, as portfolio manager. Then in 2015, Sam joined Argonaut Capital as chief macro strategist & in 2017 Graticule Asset Mgmt Asia. In both roles he was responsible for helping to manage risk & generate trade ideas across all markets & asset classes. Sam's interest in Crypto as an asset class started in 2016 while betting against EM currencies. He is now a partner at a global macro hedge fund that also trades digital assets. Sam is an investor & active participant in the EOS community.
