How can Professionals Benefit from Major Shifts in Skills Demand due to the impact of AI
Speaker: Rita Koselka, strategist
Monday May 5, 2025. Time: 6 pm to 8 pm.
Location: TBA
About 200,000 jobs on Wall Street will be displaced by artificial intelligence tools in the next three to five years, according to a study by Bloomberg. Several other businesses, from software start-ups to major consumer goods companies, are using AI tools & automation to sharply increase productivity of a wide range of professional tasks - in the process laying off staff & slashing new hires.
In this environment, what skills will continue to be in demand - without cuts in salary? How can early & mid-career professionals anticipate & prepare for changes in demand for skills so they remain employed in good jobs? These & related issues will be discussed by Rita Koselka.
