About Anjula: Anjula Acharia is the CEO & Founder of A-series Investments & Management. She works as a talent manager & strategic investor/advisor to a multitude of startups, including two early stage investments which grew into unicorns: ClassPass & Bumble. Her extensive advisory & investment portfolio includes The Muse, Hooked, Thrive Causemetics, Olipop, Gobble, & The Well. She also sits on BuzzFeed's board of directors.
A serial entrepreneur herself, Acharia previously co-founded DesiHits!, a digital entertainment platform in which she pioneered the merging of global cultures by introducing artists like Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, & 50 Cent into India & returned the favor by launching Priyanka Chopra Jonas' career in America, who she continues to represent today.
