Lets face it - working at a startup isnt easy & being a parent isnt easy, yet we rarely talk about what happens when those worlds collide. Whether you are planning for your first child, have multiple kids, or are building out your startups HR policies, this panel will offer an authentic look at the challenges for parents & best practices for businesses when preparing for parenthood.

Join the Skillshare team as we discuss starting a family in the startup world. Our panelists will offer insight into their experiences juggling parental duties & business productivity -- theyll share how they manage their time, thoughts on preparing & returning from parental leave, the company policies that are the most (and least!) useful, & beyond. After the panel discussion, well turn it over to the audience for Q&A.

Well kick off the panel at 6:30pm. Drinks & light bites will be served prior to the discussion. Hope to see you there!

Agenda:
6:00-6:30pm: Welcome Reception
6:30-7:15pm: Panel Discussion
7:15-7:30pm: Q&A

//

Hosted by Skillshare, where we are fostering a vibrant culture that supports living a full life. The panel will be moderated by Freyan Billimoria, Director of People Operations, & feature:

- Matt Cooper, CEO (parent to four children)

- Deva Kandpal, VP of Product (parent to one child)
