Michael Mignano is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm that has been an early investor in some of the most innovative companies in the world, including Snap, Stripe, Grubhub, & Carta.
Lightspeed launched in 2000 & focuses on investments in the enterprise, consumer, health, & fintech sectors. The firm currently has $28 billion in assets under management, with staff in the U.S., Europe, India, Israel, & Southeast Asia.
Mignano joined Lightspeed in 2022 & focuses on companies at the intersection of Consumer & AI. Some of his recent investments include Pika Labs, Suno, & Granola. He's also the co-founder of Oboe, a new AI education platform.
Previously, Mignano co-founded & was the CEO of Anchor, the world's largest podcasting platform. After Anchor was acquired by Spotify in 2019, Mignano went on to serve as Head of Talk Audio for Spotify, leading the podcast & video businesses for the audio streaming platform.

Michael Mignano joined Lightspeed as a Partner in 2022 after most recently serving as Head of Talk Audio for Spotify, where he led the podcast & video businesses for the world's leading audio streaming platform. Mignano is also the co-founder of AI education platform Oboe, & previously co-founded Anchor, which was acquired by Spotify in 2019 & is credited for democratizing podcasting globally. At Lightspeed, he's primarily focused on investing in companies at the intersection of Consumer & AI. His recent investments include Pika Labs, Suno, & Granola.
