Almost anything can be subjected to A/B testing. Websites, emails, ads, & even app interfaces are frequently tested. Besides, there are tons of different variables that can be manipulated to generate variants for the test. But before you decide what to do an A/B test on, here are some things to take into account.
- When to A/B test: based on the pyramid of evidence pick the right approach to get the "best" insights
- Choose your KPIs carefully: health, proxy, & business KPIs
- When not to A/B test: don't disrupt your customers, immoral & no-value situations
