Join us Thursday April 16 at Spotify as 6 queer technologists share the journeys & formative moments that shaped who they are today.
What happens when queer technologists of different generations share the choices, challenges, & defining moments that shaped their lives - not just their careers? Join us for Queer Tech Stories Across Generations, a one-night-only storytelling event presented by Out in Tech in collaboration with The Generations Project, a nonprofit that's been archiving LGBTQ+ stories for over a decade.
We're spotlighting six queer voices from across the tech industry - spanning decades, disciplines, & identities - who will take the mic to share 6-8 minute personal stories. No slide decks. No job titles. Just lived experience: the pivotal moments, missed turns, mentors, & inner convictions that helped them find (or fight for) their place in tech.
This event is about legacy, resilience, & reclaiming the intergenerational guidance many of us missed due to the AIDS crisis.
Whether you're early in your journey or reflecting on it, you'll walk away with powerful insight, connection, & maybe even a spark to share your own story.
Hosted at Spotify (4 World Trade Center, New York NY)
You must RSVP by Thursday, April 9.
