June Cohen | The Great Remembering: A Great Unlock for Creativity

Welcome June Cohen to the Kaufman Music Center's stage!

June Cohen is a pioneer in media & technology, best known as the co-creator of TED Talks. During her 11 years at TED (2005-2016), June co-hosted the flagship event- working with hundreds of speakers on their talks - & launched TED Talks online, turning the conference into a global media brand, with 1 billion views/year under her tenure. Before TED, she was part of the team that launched Wired magazine's pioneering website HotWired.com. After TED, she cofounded WaitWhat, a media company creating beloved, award-winning podcasts, like Meditative Story, Masters of Scale, Spark & Fire & Should This Exist? She also created The Possible, the first documentary series filmed in VR. After a career focused entirely on the future, June's now convinced that the most powerful ideas worth spreading can be found in the past. She's author of The Great Remembering: Powerful Ancient Practices - And the New Science Bringing Them Back (Oct 2026) June holds a B.A. from Stanford University, where she was editor-in-chief of The Stanford Daily. She's earned 100+ industry awards for her work.
