Putting Design Thinking into Practice: How to Design What Really Matters?
Participants will learn how to use the methods and mindsets of Design Thinking to solve complex problems in an innovative and human-centered manner.

Target Group

For anyone who wants to design better products, services, systems, or processes.

For people who want to address the needs of their target audience or customers in a human-centered manner.

For anyone who wants to utilize a creative mindset and process to navigate uncertainty and uncover potential opportunities.

What we will cover

You will engage in the Design Thinking process by working on a real challenge in multidisciplinary teams.

We will start by understanding the problem and those affected by the problem, utilizing design research methods, such as interviews and observation. We will also learn about different tools Design Thinkers use to synthesize data and how to create a user-centered point of view.

We will learn a variety of methods to generate innovative ideas and create tangible prototypes that we can test and assess. The feedback we receive from the testing will be integrated into the design process and incorporated into feedback loops.

Testing solutions at an early stage of the process enables us to acquire a better understanding of the product's potential and make informed decisions.

Testimonials
"Thanks for your fantastic efforts during the Open Course. We both felt the energy and effort that was generated by you all was absolutely outstanding! Your course has generated a lot of discussion during our travels. We look forward to applying the processes and your insights when we return to work."
Chris & Linda Hemstrom, Linfox Logistics & Navitas (Australia)
"Thank you again for your great guidance throughout the training programme. It was a great experience and we received food for thought and new tools to implement. Another important factor was the group of people you brought together: experts from the industry, the coaches and design thinkers from various backgrounds."
Sabine Janssen, Maastricht University
"THANK YOU for very inspiring days. It was super practical, thought provoking and incredibly inspiring. Your team made the experience truly awesome. The way you manage the course in terms of time, facilitation (technical and practical) and team engagement should be the poster-child for how others should manage a course. It was incredibly professional. Hope you keep it up and we will definitely send more people your way."
Bettina Frimann Larsen, Marcura Equities FZE, Dubai
