Fireside chat: Robin will share insights on what she looks for when investing in companies, identifying great founders, trends she's seeing in the NYC tech ecosystem & beyond, how she spots unicorn investments, & her experiences across everything from investing to becoming a female leader in venture capital. Robin Li is based in New York & focuses on investments in consumer, fintech, & digital economy for GGV Capital. She serves on the board of directors for Bustle Digital Group, Flieber, Glow Concept, & Odeko. She is formerly a board director for Lively, which was acquired by Wacoal in 2019. Robin created Evolving|E, a highly engaged community of top entrepreneurs & executives from the e-commerce, retail, & consumer goods sectors that connect at the Evolving|E annual summit & other events around the country.
Before venture capital, she spent three years at Teach for America as a teacher & administrator.
