<P><STRONG>Delmer Reed, Lead Instructor</STRONG></P>
<P>Del is the funky instructor & software engineer from San Francisco, CA & joined Galvanize's NYC web development team in December of 2016. He previously worked as the first engineer at Cognito as an API developer & lead web development instruction for General Assembly's SF market. He graduated with a degree in Pure Mathematics from UCLA in 2012, loves general abstract nonsense, & was inspired to teach after self-learning web development for startup projects in 2011, teaching over a 1000 students since 2013.<BR></P>
<P><STRONG>Jennifer Shannon, Lead Instructor</STRONG></P>
<P>Jennifer Shannon is a software developer & educator who has been experimenting with code & hardware for over fifteen years in both professional & academic settings.</P>
<P>As an enterprise trainer & consultant, Jen has worked with Fortune 500 companies & startups, leading engineering teams & key industry stakeholders through emergent trends in technology. As lead instructor at NYCDA, she developed curriculum & course offerings, led numerous full stack immersives, & led training for NYC's Tech Talent Pipeline, preparing Computer Science undergraduate & graduate students for web development positions.</P>
<P>Jen has a Masters from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, where she experimented with web technology as a Departmental Fellow, & a BS in Physics from Columbia University, where she researched MATLAB, C, & Computer Vision in a Physics Lab.</P>
