In these series of panels, presentations, & demos, we'll be exploring the ways interactive voice technology has shaped industries & artists. You'll also get to experience these innovative voice skills live & in person.

Daniel L. Burstein: Managing Partner, Millennium Technology Value Partners

Dan Burstein co-founded Millennium Technology Value Partners with Sam Schwerin in 2002. He has been actively involved in many of Millennium's most important investments including Facebook, & Alibaba, & led the firm's investment in Twitter. Before Millennium, Dan was Senior Advisor at The Blackstone Group, where he worked for 12 years in a variety of capacities. Over the course of his career, he has been a consultant to the CEOs & senior executives of major global corporations including Sony, Toyota, Microsoft, & Sun Microsystems. He has also been a forum fellow at the World Economic Forum in Davos & has been honored many times for his books & journalistic work, including awards from the Overseas Press Club & Sigma Delta Chi. He has been writing about Artificial Intelligence & the futuristic technologies of the 21st century since the 1980s. The New York Times bestselling author of 14 books, Dan has written about technology trends, global economic issues, & popular culture. AlwaysOn has named Dan to its lists of the "Power Players" in New York's venture capital community, the top 100 Power Players in Digital Media, & the top venture capitalists in the U.S.

Daniel Pianko: Co-Founder / Managing Director, University Ventures

Daniel Pianko is co-founder & managing director at University Ventures. With over a decade of experience in the education industry, Daniel has built a reputation as a trusted education adviser & innovator in student finance, medical education, & postsecondary education. A frequent commentator on higher education, Daniel's insights have been featured in national media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, TechCrunch, Inside Higher Ed, & The Chronicle of Higher Education. Daniel began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, & quickly became intrigued by the potential of leveraging private capital to establish the next generation of socially beneficial education companies. After leaving Goldman, Daniel invested in, founded, advised, or managed a number of education-related businesses that led to the creation of University Ventures. Prior to founding University Ventures, he established a student loan fund, served as chief of staff for the public/private investments in the Philadelphia School District, & worked as a hedge fund analyst.
