You write the strategy, your agents play the match - five autonomous AI agents per team, making decisions every two seconds on passing, shooting, pressing, and defending with no human input once the whistle blows. This isn't a demo you watch, it's a working system you build and deploy in an afternoon.
THE FORMAT
Four hours, one tournament. Build a squad, deploy to AWS, and play your first match before lunch. Then tune your prompts, swap tools, layer in multi-agent coordination, and compete again. Best team wins prizes - but every team leaves with a deployed agentic system and the skills to build the next one.
YOUR PATH TO RE:INVENT 2026
Every team that completes the workshop qualifies for the Agentic Football Cup global league. Group winners fly to Las Vegas to compete live on stage at AWS re:Invent. This afternoon is your qualifying round.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, and Strands Agents SDK - the same stack powering enterprise agentic systems, except your agents play football. You'll walk away understanding multi-agent orchestration, real-time state management, tool use, and guardrails at a level that takes most teams months to reach.
WHO SHOULD COME
Developers of any level - no AI/ML experience needed. Bring a non-technical teammate to name the squad, pick the formation, and handle the trash talk. Everyone leaves agentic-AI literate.
