EVENT DETAILS |
Despite global attempts to eradicate poverty, over 4 billion people still lack access to basic resources & services, such as potable water, basic health services, & primary & secondary education. Until these services are more evenly distributed, our world will always be plagued by injustice & inequality. The global community must thus work harder to address the needs at the Base of the Pyramid, the poorest segment of the world's population, often excluded by markets, banks & multinationals.
This session will discuss & explore how social entrepreneurs find innovative solutions for the world's 4 billion most underprivileged & vulnerable people.
