We will have a chat with Shai Goldman, Director of Brex, Former Director of SVB, & Former Venture Partner of 500 Startups. We will discuss Founder migration & where people are moving to & how Brex manages remote work as one of the fastest growing companies out there.
Shai is Director a BREX & has more than 15 years of experience working with the startup & venture capital community. He moved to NYC from the Bay Area in 2011 to help build out SVB's New York office & launch a new group serving early-stage founders. His current focus is on engaging the local VC community. Previously, he was a Venture Partner at 500 Startups, where he conducted investing, fundraising, community building, & portfolio management.
About Brex:
Brex, is a fintech company that provides corporate cards & spend-management software to businesses, announced earlier today that it closed a $425 million Series D round of capital at a valuation of around $7.4 billion. The new capital came less than a year after Brex raised $150 million at a $2.9 billion pre-money valuation.
