About the OWIH Innovator Program:
Building on a strong three-year track record, this eight-month intensive program supports the continued advancement of offshore wind in New York & across the U.S. by accelerating impactful & scalable innovations. With this 2026 Call for Innovators, we are especially seeking technologies that can maximize the performance & value of existing & near-term projects.
Our program is industry-specific, enabling us to comprehensively assist our innovators with understanding their market fit & technology adaptation needs, obtaining product feedback, validating their value proposition, accessing data insights, & exploring testing opportunities.
The Offshore Wind Innovation Hub is an initiative led by Urban Future Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering & the National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium (NOWRDC) in collaboration with the New York State Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) & New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYC EDC).
