Two journalists deep in the weeds of climate reporting share their insights on a year where the prevailing climate narrative has shifted dramatically.
This session will feature insights from two seasoned journalists on the front lines of climate storytelling. It is intended for specialists in communications, media, marketing, & anyone who takes an active interest in how climate, energy, & sustainability issues are being covered in the media.
Tracy J. Wholf, one of the leading producers overseeing national climate coverage at CBS News & Matthew Zeitlin, a correspondent at influential climate news website Heatmap News, will examine how the day-to-day work of reporting on the climate crisis & the energy transition has changed in a year marked by major shifts in the way climate is prioritized & addressed across government & business alike. The conversation, moderated by Antenna Group's VP of Media Relations, Isaac Steinmetz, will also dive into when & why each panelist calls on sources from the climate tech sector.
This event is part of a larger series of climate media panels hosted by Antenna at Climate Weeks in Washington, DC, London, & San Francisco earlier this year. Attendees will gain new, invaluable knowledge of what is unfolding in newsrooms.
