We are looking forward to socializing & seeing all of the new & familiar faces!
dbt Meetups are networking events open to all folks working with data! Talks predominantly focus on community members' experience with dbt, however, you'll catch presentations on broader topics such as analytics engineering, data stacks, data ops, modeling, testing, & team structures.
Today, we'll explore the performance implications of abstraction at scale, share lessons on getting teams to embrace reusable components over custom implementations, & discuss practical strategies for identifying what to abstract. Learn how our modular approach reduced new data source onboarding from 3 weeks to 2 days while ensuring consistent metrics across all pipelines.
If you're struggling with metric consistency or drowning in duplicated transformation logic, you'll leave with concrete patterns to make your DBT projects more maintainable & scalable.
