The Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP) at NYU Tandon & Transit Techies welcome you to attend a talk by Sunny Ng, a software engineer with a passion for transit-related projects, has been leveraging publicly available MTA data to create innovative software tools. He has previously presented at Transit Techies NYC & is back to share his insights on real-time subway data.
In this talk, Sunny will dive into his experiences working with real-time transit data to detect delays & service changes, a journey that ultimately led to the creation of The Weekendest, a groundbreaking iOS app that provides live subway information. Learn about the challenges & successes of building an app tailored to the unique complexities of the New York City Subway system.
Whether you're a transit enthusiast or interested in app development, this talk is not to be missed!
