Welcome to the official opening event of NYC Deep Tech Week!
This is the premier chance to get to know some of the attendees & events hosts that will be bringing the science fiction future to New York all throughout the week: investors, founders, scientists, engineers, & dreamers.
This event runs from 12-5pm as an open-house with hardware company tables setup throughout the NewLab Venue, with some snacks & drinks provided.
1 - 3pm will be presentations from several a16z American Dynamism portfolio companies on manufacturing in the New York city area.
4-5pm will be a rapid-fire pitch contest by local startups judged by Deep Tech Week investors
5 - 6pm Relax with a cocktail happy hour & a few opening speeches to kick off Deep Tech Week.
