The Hardware Meetup community is excited to announce the 115th NY Hardware Meetup at the Makerspace at NYU Tandon! This month's theme is robotics.nPARTICIPANTSnKyber Labs builds a real-world dexterous manipulation platform: a torque-transparent, fully backdrivable, high-speed robotic hand paired with standard robot arms & force-first control software. It is designed to deploy quickly into production workflows, especially high-mix, low-to-mid volume tasks that do not justify custom automation. The system closes the gap where traditional robotics falls short, helping teams reduce manual labor & improve consistency.nFauna Robotics is an American robotics company that designs & assembles its products in NYC.Our mission is to build capable, safe, & fun robots for everyone. We believe the future of robotics has to be useful & delightful: in homes, classrooms, & everyday human spaces. To get there, more developers need a faster, safer way to build & test real-world robotics applications without reinventing the basics each time. Thats why we built Sprout: the development platform we always wished existed. Sprout brings modern developer workflows to robotics, helping teams move from idea to prototype to deployment with less friction & more confidence.nSPEAKERSnStay tuned for our speaker announcementsnAGENDAn5:00 - 6:15: Arrival & networkingn6:15 - 6:25: Intro & welcomen6:25 - 6:35: NYU Center for Robotics & Embodied Intelligence introductionn6:35 - 6:55: Fauna Roboticsn6:55 - 7:15: Kyber Labsn7:15 - 7:30: Faculty Presentation by CREOn7:30 - 7:45: Open Mic timen7:45 - 8:00: NetworkingnSPONSORSnIEEE @ NYU is a studentrun chapter for ECE students to network & connect with handson builders across embedded systems, signals/communications, robotics, VLSI/FPGA, hardwaresoftware systems, & ML on devices. We run: Workshops (tools, prototypes, PCB/EDA, soldering, Raspberry Pi/Arduino); Industry & alumni sessions (panels, networking, company talks); Project nights & mixers (learnbydoing, peer mentorship); Minihacks / buildathonsnWANT TO GET INVOLVED?nSponsorship: We offer exclusive access to our 10,000+ member community through sponsorships.nHost an event at your space: We are always looking for host sponsors to provide access to unique spaces from cool hardware companies building interesting things. Want to open up your office?nSpeaker: Do you have something interesting to share with our community? We're on the lookout for fresh faces to talk about their journey & experiences.nInterested?
