Builders at The Front Yard bring our campus & city together around real problem-solving. In partnership with the Builders Movement, we are creating a space that goes beyond traditional definitions of entrepreneurship-empowering people & the community to work side by side to think flexibly & create collaborative solutions to the complex challenges of our time. Together, we are cultivating a culture that strengthens our ability to listen with curiosity, imagine with creativity, & act with courage.
This lecture series invites community members from all walks of life to uncover new strategies, exchange real stories, develop constructive mindsets, & spark ideas that can build a brighter, connected future across differences.
About Joan Blades :
Joan Blades is a co-founder of LivingRoomConversations.org - a scalable effort to build respectful connections across ideological, cultural & party lines while embracing our core-shared values. When we care about each other, we work to find ways to meet each other's needs. Also a co-founder of AllSides.com, MomsRising.org, & MoveOn.org, she is a co-author of The Custom-Fit Workplace & The Motherhood Manifesto. A mediator (attorney) by training & inclination, she believes in the power of citizens & our need for respectful discourse while embracing our core shared values.
