EVENT DETAILS |
December's NYVR Meetup will take place at RLab at Building 22 of Brooklyn Navy Yard. RLab is the first city-funded VR/AR center in the country. Fueled by a $5.6 million investment by NYCEDC & MOME, the center will be the first to support startups, talent development, research & innovation. When complete in 2019, RLab will house 16,500 square feet of co-working labs, classrooms, studios, & more.
We encourage you to register for NYC Media Lab's upcoming annual Exploring Future Reality conference happening Thursday, November 29th at NYU Kimmel Center. In addition to 30+ interactive demos, workshops, & keynotes from companies like HTC, Google, Viacom, BBC, & more, the event will include a comprehensive preview of the RLab space & it's diverse offerings to the City's VR community. NYVR Meetup can take 30% off standard & group ticket types using code NYVR at the Eventbrite link here: exfr18.eventbrite.com
I'm excited to announce the next NYVR event will be focused on UI/UX & the intersection of VR with Robotics.
