PostgresConf is the largest annual gathering for the Postgres Ecosystem & is really a week-long series of events centered around People, Postgres, & Data. PostgresConf is where all of the pieces of the Postgres world come together from beginner to PostgreSQL core hacker, from developer to DBA and, from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
-Training Days
Monday, April 16 & Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Learn something new from professional trainers in intensive 3-hour or full-day sessions.
-Conference Days
Wednesday, April 18 - Friday, April 20, 2018.
Learn what's going on in the Postgres world, meet your fellow Postgres fans in the hallway track, share your knowledge & experience, make contacts, discuss prospects.
-Scheduled talks
Wednesday begins with plenary keynotes, followed by at least a 5-track schedule that fills the venue ballrooms with talks on a wide variety of topics, satisfying a wide range of interests & levels of experience from beginner to internals hacker.
-Expo Hall
On Wednesday & Thursday, the Expo Hall will be filled with booths where you can meet companies who use PostgreSQL, support Postgres, & who hire Postgres experts. Local community organizations will also have a presence.
-Summits
In addition, there are two summits scheduled which will bring administrators & developers of the various implementations together to discuss technology & strategies: the Regulated Industry Summit & the Greenplum Summit.
-Career Fair
Friday, April 20, 2018 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Open to the public.
