The SheWorx100 Series: PR event is here. Learn from 25 journalists from top publications.
The SheWorx100 Series aims to solve specific pain points for entrepreneurs by getting to the root of the problem. This one will be focused on helping entrepreneurs demystify how to get PR. Join us for a evening that kicks off with a top-notch panel of editors from top publications follow by an unique opportunity to build relationships with journalists who write the stories that you want to tell. Weve carefully crafted an incredible lineup of writers who are prepared to arm you with new strategies, insights and know-how to take your PR game to the next level.
The panel will cover the following:
- Trending topic that are interesting to specific publications
- Building relationships with the media
- Identifying and incorporating trends in the media cycle to craft a strong story
- Avoiding cliches when pitching journalists (in person and via email)
Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in intimate breakout groups led by leading journalists and receive personal feedback on their pitch (attendees will be asked to bring a written 100 word email pitch of a story they want to get published). These sessions are reserved for entrepreneurs with launched products. Space is very limited so we will provide entrepreneurs with launched products the first opportunity to join for the event.
