AI & Philanthropy - A Strategic Leadership Forum. The Critical Dialogue: Moving from AI Anxiety to Actionable Strategy
The rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence presents a foundational moment for philanthropy & for civil society. AI is no longer a future consideration - it is actively reshaping how nonprofits deliver services, how foundations evaluate impact, & how both make decisions about resource allocation. And yet many organizations are paralyzed by the hype surrounding AI, unsure of how to invest, implement, & govern the technology responsibly.
This roundtable (Chatham House Rule) will convene a small group of senior foundation & nonprofit leaders for a candid dialogue about what AI adoption actually looks like at the leadership level: where it's working, where the governance gaps are real, & how funders & implementers can move in closer alignment.
This gathering is being organized by All Tech Is Human & Forum One. Please let us know about your interest & ideas below. Please note: because of the highly curated nature of this gathering, we cannot accommodate everyone who expresses interest.
This gathering will take place on Thursday, June 17th from 3-7pm. The roundtable will be hosted by Idealist (located in midtown Manhattan) from 3:00 to 5:30pm, followed by a nearby reception.
In addition, this roundtable will be building off the learnings of a similar gathering we held in Washington, DC in April that has participation from the Gates Foundation, Omidyar Network, IREX, Porticus, Bloomberg Philanthropies, NetHope, Project Evident, Annie E. Casey Foundation, & more.
