About John Raggio
John J Raggio is one of the founding partners of Sealiftbased in Oyster Bay, New York. The privately- held company was a ship brokerage & operations house from 1975 until 1985, when they purchased their first American flag vessel & were awarded a long-term charter to the U.S. Military Sealift Command (MSC).
Raggio is well-versed in the business of protection & indemnity insurance as he is not only the point of contact at Sealift for their ships insured by the American P&I Club but also serves on the Board of Directors of the London P&I Club.
Sealift Holding, Inc & their Subsidiaries Presently owns & operates five U.S. Flag ships all of which are on long term charters to the military We are presently in the market to purchase additional vessels to trade in the spot grain market.
