More & more people are leaving the world of 9 to 5 jobs to go freelance or run their own business. But it takes more than a leap of faith to make the transition successful.

Whatever you're transitioning into, this class will help you learn how to make the transition as smooth as possible. From preparing to leave full-time work to thriving in your new career, it will give you the tools you need to succeed.

General Assembly's classes, workshops & events are for recreational purposes & are not regulated by the bureau of proprietary school supervision.

NOTE: this session willnot be recorded. Students are encouraged to download & save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.

Preparation
This class is taken completely online via Zoom.

Class set up information will be emailed on the day of the class.

You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam & microphone as well as a strong internet connection.

All communication will be sent to the email used to purchase a ticket. If you have signed up on behalf of a friend or colleague, please forward along this information. NOTE: this session will not be recorded, however, slides will be sent within 7 days following the class. Participants are also encouraged to download & save any shared materials during class for later reference.

Julie Falconer
Digital Influencer & Social Media Strategist

Julie Falconer is a London-based digital strategy consultant. She writes an award-winning travel blog, A Lady in London, for which she has developed a strong social media presence. Julie regularly teaches & lectures on social media & digital marketing, & helps businesses develop their online strategies.
