Ultimate Agents Hackathon - $1k+ total prizes

A small, high-signal day for people who ship.
Apply to attend our biggest hackathon yet!!! With over (as of now) $1000 in total prizes to be won, brought to you by AI Tinkerers, Vibe Kanban & hosted at the Betaworks
We'll be focussing on key recent areas of AI progress:
Browser agents
Voice agents
Cloud agents
MCP / tool use
Image/video agents
Additionally check the handbook in the coming weeks for all sorts of datasets & resources you can use for ideating & building your projects.
Signing up as a Team
To ensure your team members are all accepted, after registration:
Navigate to the teams page
Create a new team
Invite your team members using the email invite feature
Your team members must accept the invite & fill out profile info before the team can be considered
Note, if your team members have signed up to an AI Tinkerers event before, make sure to use the same email.
Who Should Apply
Your projects make it past localhost. You've shipped agents, tooling, or infra, or you can show relevant repos & experience.
What to Expect
Doors open at 9:00am on Saturday. IDs will be checked by security at the door.
The kickoff talk starts at 9:30am sharp with team formation taking place immediately after. The rest of the day will consist of focussed building fuelled by snacks, energy drinks, coffee, la croix, lunch & dinner. Vegan, vegetarian, & health-conscious options available.
Building ends at 6pm followed by finalist presentations.
We'll wrap up by 8pm.
Prizes
The total prize pool currently sits at $1k. We will release further info on the hackathon discord, which is available to all accepted applicants.
Rules & Submission Criteria
Prizes will be awarded to the winning project in each track.
Additional prizes may be offered by some of the hackathon partners, eg best use of [technology]
The winning project will be chosen by a panel of expert judges, invited from the startup community & hackathon partners

Selection & Format
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Teams of up to 4 are welcome; there will be time for solo builders to form teams on site. Attendance of the kickoff session & demoing in-person is mandatory for all accepted participants. Applicants who turn up to the event, but do not participate in a meaningful may be banned from future AI Tinkerers NYC events - spaces are for builders only.
Logistics
Bring your laptop & charger. The location of the venue will be shared with accepted attendees.
