This is a part of our University Network livestream series - we encourage all students, upskilling practitioners, & career changers who are interested in launching a career in Trust & Safety to tune in!
All Tech Is Human is a non-profit committed to strengthening the Responsible Tech ecosystem so we can better tackle wicked tech & society issues & co-create a tech future aligned aligned with the public interest. After directly interacting with thousands of people since 2018, All Tech Is Human focuses on three key hurdles to improve our ability to tackle complex issues: speeding up our ability to considering the impacts of technology, creating a more cohesive multistakeholder network with a hub of knowledge, & diversifying the traditional tech pipeline with more disciplines, backgrounds, & perspectives.
Our organization has a wide range of activities, including a Slack community of over 5k members from across 64 countries, regular summits & mixers, a large mentorship program, open working groups & reports, our Responsible Tech Guide, & a job board + talent pool over over 1k individuals. Alice Hunsberger is VP of Customer Experience at Grindr, the world's largest social media platform for the LGBTQ+ community. She specializes in creating a human-centered user experience through policy development, cross-functional collaboration, & sensitivity to a diverse & global user-base. She heads up the global CX team which includes policy, customer support, customer experience & user insights, content moderation, & trust & safety.
Alice has over 12 years experience leading Customer Support, Customer Experience & Trust & Safety teams in the dating app industry. Prior to joining Grindr, she led the CX team at OkCupid, where she built the team from the ground up. She got her start in T&S 20 years ago when she founded an internet forum, quickly learning that moderation & policy is critical for creating inclusive community spaces. She is passionate about ethical tech policy, believing that dating apps, & indeed the whole internet, should be welcoming, equitable, & inclusive for everyone.
