Since Beeple sold a group of NFTs for $3.5M in December 2020, & later, a $69M NFT at Christie's in March 2021, NFTs (non-fungible tokens) have become a hot topic at parties, in mainstream media, & in memes. NFTs have become hyped to the point where people are buying, selling, & discussing them without fully understanding their origin, purpose, & potential.
This blockchain powered asset has existed for over a decade but in less than a year has become a recognized & valuable venture. Now, something that was once relegated to niche forums is becoming a force in the art world & beyond, creating exclusive communities & turning a serious profit.

Bailey's writing has been featured in respected media outlets including Art in America & Harvard Data Science Review & he has lectured at Christie's, Sotheby's, & well-known universities around the world. Bailey holds a BA in studio art & art history from Framingham State University & an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art & Design.

Richard Entrup has led technology, innovation, & digital transformation programs at many prominent global brands including Verizon, Christie's, Disney/ABC, Time Warner, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Viacom, & Tiffany & Company. He also served as CTO at several healthcare companies & a major international law firm, with documented success aligning technology investments to strategic initiatives.
While at Christie's, Richard visioned & executed many art tech firsts including the first blockchain-based auction, an augmented reality virtual hang app, predictive analytics & computer vision apps using AI/ML, online mobile bidding during a live auction, & in 2018, helped launched the inaugural Christie's Art & Tech Conference, which was focused on Blockchain & where NFTs were first announced to the traditional art world by ClubNFT Co-Founder Jason Bailey. Richard also serves as a CIO Mentor to students in the Executive Masters in Technology Management Program at Columbia University, a Startup Mentor for leAD, the Sports Startup Accelerator, & is a trusted advisor to the venture capital community as a CIO Advisory Board member for Greylock Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, the Mayfield Fund, & HMG Strategy.
