SPEAKER BIOS:
Bassam Al Mannai is the executive director of the Real Estate Directorate at QDB as such his role encompasses
Overseeing the national housing loan program of Qatar, a successful government backed housing loan program
Designed to secure houses for locals since (). The Directorate also oversees the Engineering Projects department which manages all aspects of the construction process related to QDB's capital. As well as the (Facilities Maintenance) Department which maintains the real estate assets of the bank
He has over one decade of senior real estate experience & has advised on mega projects in Qatar including; Lusail, Msheireb Down Town Doha & the Lusail Stadium for the 2022 World Cup .
Khalid Al-Mana is the Executive Director of Business Finance of Qatar Development Bank (QDB) - the leading development & financing body driving the growth of Qatar's private sector & its contribution to GDP.
Mr. Al-Mana previously held leadership positions at Royal Dutch Shell & Qatar Foundation. He held international posts in Washington DC & The Hague. Mr. Al-Mana holds a BSc in Finance from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals, & an MBA from HEC Paris. He also received specialized diplomas from London Business School & the Brookings Institute.
He is currently the Chairman of Middle East Leadership Academy (MELA), Chairman of Al Shams Advanced Lighting Technologies & Board Member of ELAN.
