You'll also hear a capstone project from alumni & learn about how to prepare, what to expect, & what happens after you attend the Metis Data Science Bootcamp.

About our Guest Alumni

Andrea Sorcinelli, Ph.D. graduated from Metis in September 2018. Now a Business Data Analyst at BrainPoP, her Ph.D. research at NYU centered on how humans perceive the social & communicative signals of other humans, compared to comparable perceptual signals from non-human primates.

Nora May graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, & later from Metis in March 2019. She will present her final project at the Open House. Her project leverages image processing & natural language processing to analyze trends in Cosmopolitan Magazine over the past 75 years in order to understand the changes in marketing to, & writing about women.
