Friends & the City is teaming up with Tipsy Rose Wines winemaker & founder Maria Chiancola for an evening that blends wine tasting, education, & honest conversation, all in the spirit of COMMUNITY & CONNECTION
This isn't just about ordering a glass of red.
It's about learning how to expand your wine palate, understand the notes you actually enjoy, & confidently talk about wine without overthinking it. Maria will guide us through an interactive wine experience that makes wine feel approachable, fun, & a little less intimidating.
Along the way, Maria will also share her journey building Tipsy Rose Wines, including how one of her early mistakes unexpectedly turned into a success, plus lessons learned from growing a business from the ground up.
Marina Aslanidou launched Friends & the City App on June 1st 2025, in an effort to turn we should hang out into real plans & real friendships.

Event Flow
6:00-6:30 PM: Arrive, mingle, & make new connections
6:30-7:30 PM: Wine tasting & education, business lessons & audience Q&A
7:30-8:30 PM: More wine, more conversations, more connections
Tickets: $25 per person: Includes wine tasting + a Greek 2026 charm bracelet for the first 20 guests who RSVP. This is a 21+ event.
