Want to use your tech skills to help others? You can make a difference teaching one-on-one as a Volunteer Tech Coach!
DOROT is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to alleviate social isolation & provide concrete services to older adults. Through our new One-to-One Technology Coaching Program, Volunteer Tech Coaches help older adults learn computer, tablet, or smartphone skills.
As a Volunteer Tech Coach, you will be matched with two DOROT clients for four coaching sessions, in clients' homes, & provided with training & a curriculum.
Ideal coaches are comfortable with technology & like spending time with older adults.
We will be offering two upcoming training sessions for new Volunteer Tech Coaches:
Wednesday, May 8th from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, May 15th from 5:30 - 7:30p.m.
