We can do something about it, actually! Frontier AI companies are relying on the inevitability narrative to push every sector to adopt their techuse their products, or get left behind. Yet many of us are concerned about Big Techs increasingly pervasive influence on democracy, the economy, the environment, & the social fabric. How do we realistically counter the narrative & take back our power? Join Anew & representatives from Outside, an impact-driven design & tech studio, will walk through the thinking behind their anti-Big Tech AI policy, unpack the myth of technosolutionism, & propose some ways companies can help counter the inevitable.
