GROWTESQUE centers on our relationship to land & the mythology of perpetual economic growth-questioning what it means to flourish ecologically & socially in a time of collapse & transition. The exhibition itself serves as a platform for climate activism, not only through discourse but also through action: a portion of sales will support tactical land conservation efforts in partnership with a wildlife conservation nonprofit.
On September 23rd we welcome Deville Cohen & Nathan Dufour Oglesby to our intimate stage to discuss the virtues of Art in Climate activism, contemplate the energy economy, & the meaning of friction & materialism in the ideals of utopia as they relate to the realities of the climate crisis.
