Dr. Mikael Dolsten
Mikael Dolsten, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician-scientist & investment advisor who serves on several public & private boards as a director or chairman & as strategic advisor to leading business groups in biomedicine & AI TechBio. Dr. Dolsten is the former chief scientific officer & president of Research & Development at Pfizer During his 16-year tenure at Pfizer, he led the approval of more than 36 medicines & vaccines. Dr. Dolsten holds an M.D. & a Ph.D. in tumor immunology from Lund University, where he is a visiting adjunct professor, & has published more than 160 scientific papers.
Avi Kometz, M.D., is a partner on Deerfield Management's Medical Technologies team. He was a partner at Ascent Biomedical Ventures, leading investments in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, & health IT. He also led corporate development at a pediatric pharmaceutical company & advised healthcare clients at McKinsey. He began as a clinician in South Africa & went on to found & build a group of clinics.
