Spooky Civic AI Hackathon: Demo Day
Free. Open to everyone. No approval needed, just RSVP.
Sun Oct 25, 2-5pm, in person in Midtown or on Zoom.
You don't need to have built anything. Come watch, cheer, & meet people.
What happens
Teams show the AI tools they built in one weekend to help New York City, across 4 tracks: The Existential Track (climate), Urban Nightmares (housing, healthcare, education, justice), Ghost in the Machine (AI infrastructure), & Physical AI for Good (robots). Judges pick the winners, & we hand out prizes.
Who should come?
Anyone curious about AI or civic tech: friends of builders, people thinking about joining a future hackathon, nonprofit & city folks looking for new tools, & anyone who wants to see what's possible.
Where: Midtown Manhattan. The exact address & the Zoom link go to everyone who RSVPs.
