P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Nicholas Lalla for a discussion of his newest book, Reinventing the Heartland: an account of Lalla's experience with Tulsa Innovation Labs to help Tulsa, OK, transition from its oil & gas legacy to tech - & a bold & pragmatic plan for urban reinvention.
Along with a conversation & audience Q&A, Nicholas will also sign copies of Reinventing the Heartland.

This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our caf the night of an event.
Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.
The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear. If you would like a signed copy & cannot attend the event, we're happy to take your pre-order. We ship most places!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nicholas Lalla is an urbanist & social entrepreneur, working at the intersection of economic development & emerging technology. He partners with cities to build strategies & initiatives that catalyze inclusive growth. Lalla founded Tulsa Innovation Labs, an organization deploying over $200 million to build northeast Oklahoma's innovation economy. He previously led Cyber NYC for the New York City Economic Development Corporation, a cybersecurity initiative The New York Times called "among the nation's most ambitious . . . " Earlier in his career, at the Urban Land Institute, he launched a national resilience program for cities combatting the effects of climate change. Lalla has written for Newsweek, Fast Company, Stanford Social Innovation Review, & Next City, among other outlets
