About Technovation
The Technovation Challenge is the worlds largest technology entrepreneurship challenge for girls. Teams of girls create a mobile app & a business case to solve a problem in their local community. Don't miss out, join the challenged by March 20th at www.technovationchallenge.org
2018 NYC Regional Pitch Event
The NYC Regional Pitch event is an opportunity for all of the registered NY-area teams to showcase their app ideas to the community. In addition, teams will pitch their app to a panel of judges for a chance to win prizes & advance to the next round of the competition - the World Pitch finals in San Francisco.
Agenda (subject to change)
10:30am: Registration & Team Fair setup
11:00am: Welcome & keynote speaker
11:30am: Pitch Round I. Teams pitch their apps to the panel of judges
12:30pm: Lunch & Team Fair. Teams showcase their apps at their table booth for the audience & the judges Q&A.
01:30pm: Pitch Round II. Teams pitch their apps to the panel of judges
03:30pm: Winners are announced, closing remarks
4pm: Event ends
Picth Event Registration
Register Early! There must be at least 10 teams pitching in a Division to officially qualify as a semi-final event. If there are not enough teams, they will still have the chance to pitch in person at the event, however, will also need to undergo virtual judging to officially qualify.
This is a free event open to all. You must register in advance -- numbers are also required for catering lunch & for building fire code. In the event, you need to cancel you can email the organizer to let us know.
Donations
If you or your company/organization can make a donation to the Technovation Pitch Event such as providing lunch, t-shirts & swag, or money towards costs & prizes, please contact the organizer in advance to let us know.
