EVENT DETAILS
The Newark Downtown Circulation Improvement Study evaluates the downtown street network & envisions improvements designed to keep Newark economically competitive while providing a safe transportation experience. The data-driven study identifies improved pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle, & transit opportunities that balance demand across all modes, improve transportation equity, & maximize the use of available resources.

Join us as we discuss the study & look beyond it to examine advanced technologies & imagine the role of automation, virtual assistants & the Emotional or Symbiotic web that would allow an individualized customer experience.

What will the Newark passenger, driver & pedestrian experience look like going forward? Join us to find out!

Speakers include: Louis Luglio, Vice President/Gen. Manager - Operations, Sam Schwartz Consulting; Laurie Matkowski, Director of Connected Automated Vehicles, Gannett Fleming; Eric Rensel, Vice President/National Advanced Mobility & Safety Planning Manager Gannett Fleming; Don Sebastian, President & CEO, NJ Innovation Institute at NJIT; & Kimberly Singleton, Manager - Division of Traffic & Signals, City of Newark
