SOLD OUT.

As the climate crisis deepens, the stories of those who nourish us matter more than ever.

Join Food Tank, Niman Ranch, Now Partners, & the Broadway Green Alliance during Climate Week NYC for an unforgettable evening of food, music, & storytelling. This intimate, invite-only gathering will uplift the voices of ten extraordinary farmers whose daily work is shaping a more just, sustainable, & resilient food future.

Through a powerful blend of live performance, theater-inspired dramaturgy, & unscripted narrative, these farmers will share their lived experiences-of land, of legacy, of hope, & of heartbreak. This is a night to listen. To feel. To act.

The evening will also include musical performances, delicious culinary storytelling through bites & beverages, & thoughtful conversations with prominent cultural leaders about the critical role of farmers in addressing the climate emergency.

Let this night remind us: Every climate solution begins in the soil-and in the stories of those who tend to it.

Confirmed farmer voices include Karen Washington, a farmer, activist, & co-founder of Black Urban Growers, working to uplift food justice & community farming in the Bronx & beyond; Patrick Holden, farmer & founding director of the Sustainable Food Trust; Bob Quinn, organic farmer & plant geneticist from Montana, who revived ancient grains & promotes sustainable agriculture; Ron Mardesen, a third-generation hog farmer from Elliott, Iowa, who has raised pigs for Niman Ranch for over 20 years using humane & sustainable practices; Sabrina Servais, a passionate young dairy farmer & Assistant Herd Manager at her family's Organic Valley member farm in Wisconsin; Sea Matias, a regenerative farmer & community organizer growing culturally relevant crops & advancing food sovereignty through mutual aid; Brian Mattingly, Director of Star Hill Farm Operations for Maker's Mark, who manages 1,100 acres of regenerative farmland in Kentucky, integrating crops & livestock for resilient agriculture; Olivia Fuller, a fourth-generation farmer at Fuller Acres in upstate New York, raising pastured livestock & maple products on protected land to build a resilient & diversified future; William Dennehy, a dairy farmer from County Kerry, Ireland, managing 85 acres of heavy pastureland & over 85 cows with a focus on improving soil health & efficient grazing; Azeem Zakir Kareem, who partners with his wife in running Samad Gardens Initiative, leading efforts in regenerative herbal & vegetable farming, education, & advocacy for farmers; Caroline Radice, co-owner of Black Dog Farm & Catering in Northern California & co-founder of the Good Farm Fund, supporting small farmers with microgrants & EBT access; & April Wilson, a third-generation hog & chicken farmer who continues her family's ranching legacy at Seven W Farm, established by her grandfather in 1959.

Special musical performance by Joey Contreras, award-winning songwriter of the viral musical In Pieces, will perform a set of originals & covers. He'll be joined by guitarist, Nick Potocki (Dead Outlaw) & Hannah Verdi, who is featured on the In Pieces: Highlights Deluxe album released by Broadway Records.

This event is by invitation-only. If you would like to request to be considered for an invitation or for press passes, please email Bernard at Bernard@FoodTank.com. This event is also open to all for live-streaming at FoodTank.com.
