About Us
Hatch Labs empowers immigrant *and underrepresented* founders to build AI-empowered, transformative products in industries where AI has high growth opportunities such as real estate & construction, fintech, maritime, & femtech.
About the Hackathon
Hosted in collaboration with Microsoft & Rise by Barclays, Hatch Labs is kicking off an AI venture-building hackathon matching business leaders/founders with AI experts, scientists, & technical founders.
We will focus on AI agent applications in complex, fragmented industries that are slower to adopt technology & rely on human experts for advice. Example industries include real estate, wealth management, insurance, femtech, maritime,etc.
Participating teams will develop a proof of concept (early stage MVP), business plan including market research, GTM strategy, & investor pitch deck.

Logistics
Hackathon teams meet & work together for 48 hrs
- Nov 14-15 @ Rise by Barclays NYC
- Winner announcement & pitch competition (Nov 18) @ Microsoft NYC Headquarters
Hackathon Outcomes
1. 1-3 winning teams invited to pitch to a selected group of VCs
2. We at Hatch will work with the winners to get VC funding within a reasonably short timeframe (6-9 months).
