ABSTRACTThe TensorFlow Object Detection API is an open source framework that can be used to develop, train, & deploy deep learning models. It has enabled data scientists & computer vision engineers to create object detection applications using state-of-the-art model architectures. This demonstration will give an introduction to object localization & image segmentation models, & provide a walk-through showing the steps necessary to train & deploy models to production.
BIOAndrew is a Data Scientist at Strong Analytics, where he integrates machine learning & computer vision into the development of new technologies. Strong Analytics is a data science consulting firm that works with companies of all sizes, from startups to the Fortune 100, in developing, engineering, & deploying machine learning-based technologies. Andrew's primary work has been in developing deep learning-based 3D object detection & tracking models for use in optimizing last-mile logistics by global shipping companies.
